Norwich City defender Timm Klose has told ESPN he has found playing in the Championship an adjustment, but one he is relishing.
The German signed mid-season with the Canaries last season and so this is his first time playing in England’s second tier.
Klose described the division as ‘wild’, and said that while it is less skilful it is not easier.

He said: “Sure, you won’t find a Kevin De Bruyne in this league, but compared to the Premier League it is somewhat tougher and at least wilder.
“Five defend without compromise, and five attack unconditionally. It’s elbows out in the box, and everyone’s strong in the air. There are several Harry Kanes.”

Klose, 28, has made 10 appearances for Norwich in the league this season, and has helped the club to ascend to second position in the table.
The centre-back missed the 4-3 loss to Newcastle through injury, and his presence was sorely felt as the team conceded two last minute goals.
He has established himself as a key part of Alex Neil’s side, and is keen to earn another shot at the Premier League by winning promotion, where he can get back to facing the real Harry Kane.
