Failing to turn their season around, Norwich City finished the season in 19th, sealing relegation. The season had been a difficult one for manager, Alex Neil, who was managing in the Premier League for the first time.

Knowing they would need to strengthen in the summer, Alex Neil worked hard over the summer to bring in new players, capturing Tottenham Hotspur’s much sought-after Alex Pritchard, as well as Benfica’s Nelson Oliveira and Liverpool’s Sergi Canos.

Starting the season strongly, Norwich City picked up 6 wins from their first 11 Championship fixtures, including a 1-2 against Wolves thanks to goals from Cameron Jerome and Robbie Brady.

However, this promising run was followed by a drastic dip in form, as the Canaries lost 5 of their 8 games over the course of October and November, including a 1-0 loss to Derby County.

Now falling behind in the promotion race, some Norwich City fans are starting to wonder whether Alex Neil’s time at Carrow Road could be due to end, as the Canaries look to turn their season around at the turn of the year.
