Tom Trybull is starting to look like a superb signing for Norwich City after his star turn against The Bees on Tuesday.

The clue’s in the name. Tom Trybull really is a bulldog of a midfielder but that is not to say the German is all muscle and snarl.
“It was a brilliant performance. He was great in possession, he played finishing passes, he was really aggressive in each one on one duel,” Canaries manager Daniel Farke told The Pink’Un of the 24-year-old after Tuesday’s 3-1 EFL Cup win at Brentford.
“I am really happy he is in our squad.”

And Norwich supporters certainly share Farke’s sentiment. While Mario Vranjic’s classy brace stole the show against The Bees, Trybull made the Anglian side tick in the centre of the park with a performance of true, unadulterated class.
Signed on a free from ADO Den Haag this summer, the technical midfielder spoke of his desire to settle down this summer after a nomadic couple of years and he looks right at home in Norwich colours.

Equally adept at breaking up the play or arching perfect through balls in behind the defence, his assist for Josh Murphy’s goal at Griffin Park was simply sublime.
Suddenly, Trybull looks like one of the season’s most inspired bargain signings. The concern for Norwich supporters, however, is that the club have only tied him down to a one-year deal.
Though the fans are doing their best to remind the club to put fresh terms on the table.
