Nelson Oliveira has been in inspired form for Norwich City this season but his excellent run ended as Burton Albion came to Carrow Road.

Boos greeted the final whistle as Norwich City failed to break down a Burton Albion team who had conceded five to Leeds United just three days earlier.
The honeymoon period is most definitely over now for new manager Daniel Farke, who appears to have a long way to go before he can match the exploits of his fellow former Dortmund reserve coach David Wagner.
The Canaries have won just two of their first seven Championship games and the play-off places are already slipping away. And, when facing up to Burton’s determined defence, Norwich really could have done with Nelson Oliveira bringing his shooting boots along for the game.

The Portuguese international striker has enjoyed a fine start to the season, scoring four goals in four starts, but had what can best be described as an ‘off day’ against Nigel Clough’s struggling Brewers at Carrow Road.
Oliveira failed to hit the target with any of his five attempts on goal and frequently passed up possession in a game where Norwich really needed him at his clinical best.
Arguably the club’s most dangerous attacking threat, Oliveira was far removed from the player Swansea City reportedly bid £12 million for on transfer deadline day, as reported by The Mail.

Though fans should be wary of going overboard in their criticism. After all, Oliveira has found the net more often than not this season.
