Norwich are set to lose out on David Turnbull to Celtic.

Celtic’s on and off transfer deal for David Turnbull has the go ahead once again, The Daily Record report.
It was a week ago that Celtic issued a statement saying Turnbull had rejected their offer. He has since been in talks to sign with Norwich City.
The Scottish Sun claimed Motherwell ace Turnbull had even agreed terms with The Canaries.
The Daily Record‘s report does not suggest Celtic have made an improved offer, but instead claims Turnbull feels the move will be better for his career.
This could mean Norwich were not able to offer the playing time he wanted, or simply that he wanted to compete for trophies and play in Europe.
The saga has caused a lot of consternation among Celtic fans, but objectively, it is fair for Turnbull to take time to explore his options.

Norwich on the other hand are the fall guys, and will have to ‘move on’ as Celtic put it. Fortunately there is plenty of time remaining in the transfer window to do so.
Here is a look at how their fans reacted…
