Norwich City have let Remi Matthews leave for Bolton.

Norwich City have announced Remi Matthews is being loaned out to Bolton Wanderers.
Matthews’s move is scheduled to become permanent in January when the transfer window re-opens.
The 24-year-old has been a promising part of Norwich’s academy in recent seasons but has not managed to make the jump to first team level.
He impressed on a loan spell with Plymouth Argyle last season and had hoped to challenge for the first team spot this season, with Angus Gunn’s loan having ended.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke had other ideas, signing Tim Krul as a free agent.
Krul has had a poor start for the Canaries so far, but this has not affected Norwich’s plans to let Matthews leave.

Matthews had a disappointing pre-season and this appears to have cost him with regards to staying at the club.
Fans are concerned that letting him leave to join a Championship rival could be an error, and have reacted with disappointment to the move.
