Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Norwich City playmaker James Maddison.

Tottenham Hotspur rarely do business during the January transfer window under Mauricio Pochettino, but they are being heavily linked with a move for a Championship star.
According to the London Evening Standard, Spurs are interested in snapping up Norwich City star James Maddison, who is attracting interest from Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City.
Maddison, 21, is enjoying a stunning season under Daniel Farke, having hit seven goals and five assists in just 25 Championship outings this term, triggering Premier League interest.

It’s now claimed that Tottenham could launch a £20million move for Maddison this month, with the intention of loaning him back to Norwich for the rest of the season.
That’s something Tottenham have done under Pochettino, having signed Dele Alli from MK Dons in January 2015 before sending him back to the League One club on loan, meaning they may be willing to do the same with Maddison.
Spurs have just sent Marcus Edwards on loan to Norwich for the rest of the season, but having lost Alex Pritchard to Huddersfield Town, the Canaries surely won’t be keen to lose another playmaker.

As a result, fans have taken to Twitter to offer their reaction to the latest Maddison rumours, with many suggesting that £20million would be too good to turn down, especially if he could be loaned back for the rest of the season.
Some believe that Spurs are the perfect club for Maddison to join, and think that Edwards’ loan is a sweetener to sign Maddison, but others don’t want any deal done at all as they look to focus on a play-off place.
