Norwich fans reflect on a blow for John Ruddy at Wolves.

In a flash, John Ruddy’s dream at Wolves could be over.
Wolves signed Rui Patricio from Sporting Lisbon yesterday, announcing a shock deal for the Portugal number one.
It is a coup for Wolves, and a sign of their determination to move forward.

Ruddy is facing a new dawn, having ended the season as a champion, hoping for a chance to prove himself in the Premier League once again.
The goalkeeper now faces a choice, whether to leave, or stay as a back-up.

He had to know this was a risk given the scale of Wolves’ ambition, but Ruddy did not put a foot wrong last year after replacing Carl Ikeme and will have hoped he at least would have got one season in the top flight.
Ruddy left Norwich City behind last summer, and his former side finished 14th while Ruddy hlped Wolves earn top spot in the Championship.
But now Canaries fans are speculating that Ruddy will now be joining them again as a possible opponent once more back in England’s second tier…
