Norwich City boss Daniel Farke has already spotted an area with Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards needs to improve.

Edwards has joined Norwich on loan from Spurs until the end of the season, with the youngster set to get his first taste of regular first-team action.

Farke has already been impressed by Edwards’ ability in possession, but the German boss feels that the 17-year-old Tottenham prospect needs to work harder off the ball.

Mauricio Pochettino once tipped Edwards for greatness, but he has not developed quite as quickly as many at Spurs had hoped.

Edwards has not played for Tottenham at all this season, and a move to Norwich could be needed to aid his progress.

Edwards is likely to step in for Alex Pritchard at Carrow Road, after the attacking midfielder left to join Huddersfield Town earlier in the transfer window.

Edwards could make his Norwich debut tomorrow, when the Championship side take on Brentford at Griffin Park, but he has been nursing a slight injury over recent times.
