The Canaries have been linked with a move for the Nottingham Forest midfielder this week.
Norwich City have joined the race to sign Henri Lansbury from Nottingham Forest, according to a report in The Sun.
The midfielder is out of contract in the summer and has seemingly grown disillusioned with the way the club is being run.
This has seen him linked with several teams – including Derby County, Birmingham City and Watford.

Now Norwich City boss Alex Neil has commented on the apparent interest in the Forest midfielder.
The Canaries manager is quoted by the Eastern Daily Press as stating:
“It’s not anything I can talk about. He’s a good player but, well if I’ve got them fit, I’ve got a lot of midfield players.
“We want to try and attract the best midfield players that we can and if he’s a really good player and a deal can be done then we can look at it.
“But to be honest he is one of many players that we would naturally look at.”
Aston Villa have also been linked with the player but any deal for the Forest star has been continuously held up by the City Ground’s messed up recent takeover attempt.

The Sun report claimed that Norwich are now hopeful they can convince Lansbury to head to Norfolk. The report suggests Villa have not been able to agree a fee with Forest for the player and that Norwich could swoop.
But whilst Neil admitted an interest in the Forest player, he hardly confirmed his interest in signing him.
For the time being Lansbury’s future remains up in the air and Nottingham Forest fans will hope that time comes to an end soon.
