James Maddison comments after Norwich City rescue a draw against rivals Ipswich.

The points were shared in a dramatic East Anglia derby yesterday between Norwich City and Ipswich Town.

Ipswich appeared to have won the game when Luke Chambers scored in the 89th minute before Timm Klose equalised in the fifth minute of injury time.

James Maddison was once again impressive for the Canaries and earned a man-of-the-match award for his efforts.

He commented on social media after the game and admitted he does not know how they didn’t manage to get all three points.

As it was, one point ended up feeling like a good result after conceding first.

Teammate Josh Murphy also tweeted after the draw, expressing satisfaction at the team’s late fightback.

The draw id nothing to separate the two teams, who sit level on 45 points in 12th and 13th place with Ipswich ahead on goal difference.

A late run at the play-offs is not out of the question for either side just yet, but they will each need to show more killer instinct in front of goal than they did at Carrow Road yesterday if they are to put a run together.
