Norway avoided embarrassment as they beat San Marino 4-1 on Tuesday night, with Martin Samuelsen scoring his first goal for the Scandinavians.
Per-Mathias Høgbo’s side took the lead at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, as Davide Simoncini’s own goal put Norway in front.

However, San Marino shocked the world by equalising through Mattia Stefanelli – and with 15 minutes to play, they looked to be on the verge of claiming a point.
Norway eventually got the win though, as Hull City’s Adama Diomande, West Ham’s Martin Samuelsen and Bournemouth’s Joshua King all scored within six minutes to grab the victory.

West Ham talent Samuelsen, who is currently on loan at Blackburn Rovers, has been tipped for a huge future, and having scored against San Marino, he earned huge praise on Tuesday evening.

Norway fans praised Samuelsen for his creativity, suggesting that he changed the game when he came on as a substitute, and his performance was the only good thing to come out of the game.
Meanwhile, West Ham supporters were not only excited about Samuelsen’s future at the club, but also suggested that he could be the answer to the club’s current problems, claiming that he’s already better than loanee Gokhan Tore.
