Leeds United’s winger is currently out of action but has been called up to the national team.
Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill has been commenting on the fitness of Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas.
Northern Ireland have called up the Leeds star for upcoming games with Azerbaijan and Croatia despite the fact he has been out of action injured over the past few weeks. Dallas has not featured for Leeds since the 2-1 win against Barnsley on the 1st October. He then picked up an injury on the previous international break and Leeds United will not want him risked on this occasion.

O’Neill is quoted by the Belfast Telegraph as making it clear that Dallas’ call-up to the squad is by no means final. He stated:
“Stuart hasn’t played due to injury, there is a question mark but we’ve named him.
“We’ll see how he is. What happens this weekend will be a big factor.”
Northern Ireland head coach Michael O’Neill
Monk, speaking to TV Yorkshire this week, highlighted that Dallas would be unlikely to play in the international fixtures but appreciated Northern Ireland’s right to call him up.
Leeds have managed to perform well without Dallas but his presence on the left-wing would be a big boost to the Leeds first-team for Monk. It looks as though if Dallas does not feature for Leeds this weekend then he won’t be playing for his nation.
All things considered, that seems the sensible decision.
