Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to reveal their fear after Robin Koch received a call up to Joachim Löw’s squad for Germany’s upcoming triple header.

The Elland Road faithful are panicking over the potentiality of the centre-back picking up an injury, it seems.

Marcelo Bielsa has already seen both Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente suffer injuries while on international duty earlier in the season for Scotland and Spain respectively, as Leeds Live reported.

Luckily, Cooper has since recovered, although Llorente is yet to return.

Sadly, we didn’t even get to see a glimpse of the Spanish centre-back before he picked up his injury.

In that respect, the last thing Bielsa will want is to lose Koch to an international injury as well, something that the Leeds fans on Twitter are fearful of happening.

The £13 million signing from SC Freiburg will be in the squad to face the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Spain in the space of a week.

Germany’s game against the Czech Republic is on November 11th, before Löw’s side battle Ukraine on the 14th and Spain on the 17th.

If Koch plays in all of those games, it will be a huge test for his fitness given the lack of time in between each fixture.

Let’s see how the Leeds fans on Twitter reacted to his call up…
