Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after Jack Grealish posted an update on his recovery from a shin injury.
The 5-cap England international has been missing ever since the 0-0 draw against Brighton on February 13th.
Since then, Grealish has missed seven Premier League games for the Villans.
His obvious importance to Dean Smith has been further emphasised by the fact that Villa have won just two of those games without their talisman.
As the BBC covered, Grealish is expected to miss at least two more weeks of action, having suffered a setback in his recovery.
After this news emerged, the 25-year-old posted a 14-word tweet, revealing his emotions following the setback.
Grealish states that he’s missing his football badly, and is doing everything he can to regain full fitness and come back stronger than ever.
The Villans need him back as soon as possible, as a place in the Champions League for next season hasn’t quite slipped away yet.
Admittedly, the eight-point gap between Villa and West Ham in fourth looks hard to bridge.
However, Villa have a game in hand.
Should they win that, and go on something of a winning run, things will look very interesting.
