Real Madrid fans’ anxiety has grown ahead of their clash with Liverpool tomorrow, after some early team news broke.

Madrid may go into the game with a 3-1 advantage over Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side, but their preparations for the fixture have hardly been ideal.

Madrid had a huge game against Barcelona to play at the weekend, and injuries have taken their toll on their squad ahead of their visit to Anfield.

Both Dani Carvajal and Fede Valverde were not seen in Madrid training yesterday.

And some fans of the Spanish side are now worried that they could meet a similar fate to Barcelona, as Liverpool look to turn the tie around.

Liverpool famously beat Barca 4-0 before going on to win the Champions League back in 2019.

They will need a similarly excellent performance tomorrow if they are to turn the tie around.

Liverpool’s recent displays have offered very little encouragement that such a feat can be pulled off.

But the Reds are famously difficult to beat in the Champions League, and Klopp will surely be hoping for another historic night at Anfield on Wednesday.
