Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Juve Live revealed that Liverpool are interested in taking Raphinha off their hands.
The Reds are believed to have been attracted to the Brazilian’s performances for Marcelo Bielsa in what is his debut Premier League campaign.
Raphinha arrived at Elland Road in a £17 million deal from Rennes in October, and it’s already proving to be an inspired buy from Victor Orta.
The 24-year-old has four goals and four assists to his name, and seems to be getting better with each game.
Apart from Mohamed Salah, there are few right-sided, left-footed forwards in England’s top-flight who attack like Raphinha – he is utterly direct.
The Leeds No.18 loves to drive at full-backs on his stronger left foot, before cutting inside and testing the keeper, or providing for a teammate.
It’s no wonder the Premier League champions are watching him – his value has arguably tripled already since he arrived in Yorkshire.
The Elland Road faithful won’t want to lose Raphinha before they’ve even been allowed to watch him play in person – it would be a nightmare if that happened.
