West Ham United fans have been left frustrated after Michail Antonio has been labelled a doubt ahead of their game against Manchester United tomorrow.
West Ham are set to take on the Red Devils in the FA Cup, but their chances of victory may be dented with the news that Antonio is struggling to be fit.
Moyes said, at his press conference today, which was covered by Football London: “He is still fatigued so it will be a close call to see how he is. We will assess him today to see if he is available or not.”
Antonio’s absence for West Ham is more frustrating as it comes just after the January transfer window.
David Moyes’s side sold Sebastien Haller and failed to bring in a replacement, which has left their attacking options looking very short.
And West Ham fans are now seriously annoyed with the board’s failure to land a striker.
If Antonio is out it seems that Andriy Yarmolenko could start up-front or Moyes could turn to youngster Mipo Odubeko.
