Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left frustrated after Japhet Tanganga was ruled out of their game against Manchester United with injury.
Spurs are set to take on United on Friday evening, as the Premier League restarts.
It seemed as if Tottenham finally would have a clean bill of health going into the fixture.
However, the Telegraph have now reported that Tanganga has picked up a stress fracture in his back, which could rule him out for much of the rest of the campaign.
And Spurs fans are annoyed that they have suffered yet another injury problem, so soon after their return to training.
Tanganga has been a key player for Tottenham since Jose Mourinho took charge.
The youngster has played right across Tottenham’s back-line, and he has generally coped well with the challenge of playing regular senior football.
Spurs are currently in eighth place in the Premier League table, seven points away from the top four.
