Simon Jordan has slammed Victor Orta for his actions after Leeds United’s 2-2 draw against Brentford on Sunday as ‘nonsense’, as he told talkSPORT.
The former Crystal Palace owner stated that Orta should be behaving ‘a bit better’ after he was seen throwing v-signs and being angry at somebody or someone over the weekend at Elland Road.
The Leeds Sporting Director had to be held back by those around him, including the club’s Chief Executive, Angus Kinnear.
What was said or gestured to the Leeds man that got him so animated remains a mystery.
But that is Orta in a nutshell because he has always made his feelings known if he isn’t happy about something.
Although, his recent actions didn’t sit well with Jordan, who also had his fair few issues in the boardroom during his days in the hotseat.
“It looked like somebody that was very busy behind a group of people,” said Jordan. “If those people disappeared, he might not have been so brave.
“It’s an emotional game, but you don’t need to have that much investment. Leeds fans might think it’s wonderful because it’s one of their own, in terms of their sporting director.
“I thought it was a bit of nonsense, to be honest. You should probably behave yourself a little bit better in the director’s box.”

This isn’t the first time that Orta has acted in such a manner and it won’t be the last.
There’s no doubt that he is adored by the Leeds fans, and if anyone did say something negative towards the club, then they will probably like the fact that he is sticking up for them.
Either way, it was a very good point for Marcelo Bielsa’s men against the Bees, with Patrick Bamford announcing himself after his return from injury with a poacher’s-like goal.
That’s back-to-back games that Leeds have scored stoppage-time goals and it is becoming a bit of a norm for them now.
