Ramon Vega has dismissed suggestions that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane would not have been a good signing for Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player has said on Twitter that Harry Kane would have flourished and banged in the goals for fun at Manchester United.
Vega does not subscribe to the idea that Kane has not improved.
The pundit made the comments while reacting to a rumour as to why Manchester United decided against signing the 30-year-old England international striker this summer.
Journalist Andy Mitten has said on The Athletic’s podcast that one of the reasons why the Red Devils did not sign Kane was that he drops too deep.
The Times reported in June that Manchester United were looking into the possibility of signing Kane in the summer transfer window.
The Daily Mail has reported that Bayern Munich are now trying to get a deal done with Spurs for the striker.
