Chelsea winger Noni Madueke is reportedly keen to explore leaving Stamford Bridge during the upcoming January transfer window.

The Blues have spent massively since Todd Boehly’s arrival and we are yet to see a consistent return on investment.

Some players like Kalidou Koulibaly and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang arrived in the Boehly era and have already moved on.

More changes could come in January and one signing from earlier this year may be eyeing a departure.

TEAMtalk now report that winger Noni Madueke is ‘in line’ to leave Chelsea during the January transfer window.

It’s claimed that Madueke is ‘open’ to exploring a loan move away from the club when the window opens.

Chelsea want to keep Madueke but the wide man allegedly wants more playing time away from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea paid around £29million to sign Madueke in January of this year having impressed at PSV Eindhoven.

Madueke racked up 20 goals and 14 assists in 80 games for PSV having quit Tottenham Hotspur as a youngster.

The 21-year-old decided to return to London with Chelsea but has found first-team football hard to come by under Mauricio Pochettino.

Madueke has played just 120 minutes of Premier League action this season and seems to be down Pochettino’s pecking order.

Even with Cole Palmer unable to start against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, Pochettino went with Mykhailo Mudryk over Madueke.

Madueke didn’t even get off the bench and few could really blame him for wanting action elsewhere.

Premier League clubs would surely have an interest in Madueke, who has been hailed as ‘exciting, fast and direct’ by England Under-21 boss Lee Carsley.

If Chelsea have no plans to give Madueke more minutes in the second half of the season, then a loan move will become increasingly appealing.
