Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has had his say on Enzo Maresca as manager of the Blues following his summer appointment.
Mauricio Pochettino looked to be beginning to click at Chelsea towards the end of last season but Todd Boehly and the decision-makers at Stamford Bridge opted for a change and appointed Enzo Maresca from Leicester City.
The start of the season has been a mixed one for Chelsea with a 1-1 draw before the international break cancelling out the positivity from the 6-2 victory over Wolves at Molineux.
The season has been a promising one for the Blues and English winger Noni Madueke has had his say on Maresca’s impact.

It was certainly a busy final few days of the summer transfer window for Chelsea with Raheem Sterling moving to Arsenal and the Blues signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on an initial loan deal.
As well as this, certain Chelsea players were left out of the training squad and made to train away from the first team but all is well at Stamford Bridge according to Madueke.
“Of course, in the building, it’s a great place to be, to be around,” Madueke told talkSPORT. “But of course, there’s a lot of things going on with all the signings, the turnover and stuff. But as a football player, your job is to perform on the pitch.
Madueke also commented on the impact of Maresca, he said: “He’s a great guy, very good manager, great tactician. He’s helping me a lot with my game, and little details.
“Things that you wouldn’t necessarily think of yourself. I always feel like a great manager will say ‘this will help you score more, this can help you get in behind more’, stuff like that. Little things like that really help.”

The Chelsea manager role is never going to be an easy one, particularly with the sheer number of changes that occur within the squad.
However, if Maresca can mold the squad in his image, he could be on to a winner. The fantastic 6-2 victory over Wolves was a big example of how well this side could do under the right manager.
With the signing of Sancho to come into the squad, this could certainly be an exciting time to be a Chelsea fan.
