Tottenham Hotspur youngster Noni Madueke left White Hart Lane last summer.

Madueke opted to leave Tottenham in the summer, and he went and joined PSV.
The England youth international could not see a path into Tottenham’s senior squad.
However, Madueke thinks that PSV will give him a chance soon – and he has cited De Jong’s progress at Ajax, as something he wants to emulate.
“There are so many young players in first teams at the top level like at PSV, Ajax,” Madueke said.
“Players like Frenkie De Jong, all of these guys. I thought if I want to get to the first team as quickly as possible then I have to move from Tottenham and come to PSV.

“As long as I keep doing the things they are telling me, I feel like I’ll reach that first-team level very soon as opposed to if I had stayed at Tottenham.”
Madueke and De Jong potentially could have been teammates at White Hart Lane, if things had worked out differently.
De Jong was actually linked with a £45 million move to Tottenham, as reported by the Mundo Deportivo, but he has decided to join Barcelona instead.
Madueke is yet to make his senior debut for PSV, but he has played for their under-19 side regularly this term.
