The Leeds United hitman looks like he’s heading to Burnley.
After ruling himself out of Leeds United’s 2-0 win at Sunderland, it seems as if Chris Wood is heading for the Premier League.
The Mirror reported on Friday that Burnley are set to wrap up a £15 million deal for the 25-year-old, who scored 30 times in all competitions for Leeds last season.
And it would appear is if the Whites will have to find another prolific hitman to fire them back to the top flight come May.

One man who doesn’t seem overly bothered about the imminent transfer is Noel Whelan, who proved his Leeds allegiances on Twitter with a cutting one-word response when asked about the New Zealand marksman on social media.
Deep down, Whelan, along with every fan of the Elland Road club, will be concerned.
Yes, Thomas Christiansen’s side might’ve beaten Sunderland on Saturday without the big man up top, but it is a very long season and their hopes of promotion look bleak without a talismanic figure leading the line.
Leeds’ chances of promotion are better with Wood than they are without him and the question is whether the Yorkshire side can find an adequate replacement in 10 days.
It’s a big ask, but failure isn’t an option if they’re serious about the Premier League.
