Leeds United will face Bristol City in the Championship this afternoon.

Vieira is one of the best young players in the Championship and was an important figure in the Leeds team last season.
Under then head coach Garry Monk, who is now in charge of Championship rivals Middlesbrough, the 19-year-old midfielder started 24 matches in the league and made 10 substitute appearances last season.
So far this campaign, the youngster has played in only three league fixtures – all as a substitute and for a total of just 54 minutes.

Former Leeds striker Whelan believes that the England Under-20 international is the club’s strongest midfielder.
“He is one of these players who has got loads of energy, probably the strongest midfield player that we have, I would say, when you are looking at all-around ability,” said Whelan about Vieira on The Noel Whelan Show on BBC Radio Leeds on Friday evening (6:12pm, October 20, 2017).
“He can drive with the ball, he breaks things up nicely, very very strong in challenges and tackles.”

Vieira is an all-round midfielder, and Leeds’s recent disappointing results in the Championship mean that the youngster needs to be given a more prominent role in the team.
It will be a surprise if the youngster does not start for Thomas Christiansen’s side against Bristol City away from home at the Ashton Gate Stadium in the Championship this afternoon.
