Felix Wiedwald made a mistake during Leeds United’s Championship game against Middlesbrough on Friday.

Noel Whelan has told BBC Radio Leeds that Leeds United goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald cannot be trusted.
The former Leeds striker made the comments following the Whites’ 3-0 defeat to Middlesbrough away from home at the Riverside Stadium in the Premier League on Friday evening.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper was at fault for Boro’s second goal and produced a disappointing performance overall in the game, and Whelan was not impressed.

Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds about Wiedwald: “Once again, you know, people in key areas that aren’t good enough. But you can’t trust, that’s the big word – trust.
“You feel worried when the ball goes back to him, you feel worried when the ball goes in the box, he is flapping again, he is not brave enough coming for the ball, not getting a big enough punch on it.”

Future in doubt?
Wiedwald joined Leeds from Werder Bremen in the summer of 2017 amid much expectation, but the former Germany Under-20 international has struggled to play consistently well.
The 27-year-old has made costly errors from time to time, and has even been dropped from the first team this season.
The German’s future at Leeds could be under doubt, as the Whites could possibly look at better players in his positions in the summer of 2018, especially they get promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season.
