Leeds United have made a number of signings this summer, and Noel Whelan has suggested which ones he is most excited about seeing.
Noel Whelan has told BBC Radio Leeds that of all the summer signings Leeds have made during this window he is most excited about seeing Gianni Alioski and Vurnon Anita.
The Whites have made 10 additions to their senior squad during this summer window following the full change of ownership and of head coach in recent months.

With a number of the new faces not boasting any experience of playing in England before they arrived at Elland Road, there is certainly a sense of intrigue regarding how they will get on during their time in Yorkshire.
And while Whelan named one player who undoubtedly knows what to expect from the second tier when asked which signings he is most excited about seeing in action, he also picked out the 25-year-old Macedonia international.
“I would say Alioski. He looks exciting, seeing him on the YouTube videos. Obviously, I didn’t know too much about him until his name was linked with Leeds United but he looks a player,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
“Anita we know all about. He’s been in and around the Premiership for a number of years and the Championship so he’s going to be bringing the experience but along with the rest of the lads, it seems like we’ve got some good strength in depth.”
Vurnon Anita arrived from Newcastle
What is surely likely to please the supporters, given that Thomas Christiansen has got a number of players within his squad who are unproven in England, is the fact that Leeds have held on to the majority of the squad that came so close to the play-off places last season.
Charlie Taylor is the only regular starter from last term to have moved on while Kyle Bartley has returned to his parent club, and that continuity should surely ensure that the new signings have a much easier task coming in as they will be looking to add to the foundations that are already in place rather than create them themselves.
