Leeds United thumped the Canaries at Carrow Road this afternoon.

Leeds United have surged back to the top of the Championship by thumping Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road this afternoon.
First-half goals from Mateusz Klich and Ezgjan Alioski sent Leeds into a comfortable 2-0 half-time lead over the Canaries.
Pablo Hernandez then rounded off the scoring on 67 minutes to send Leeds back above Middlesbrough on goal difference at the summit.
Marcelo Bielsa has now masterminded four wins from five Championship games – the other being a 2-2 draw at Swansea City in midweek.
Here is what former Leeds hitman Noel Whelan said instantly:
He told BBC Radio Leeds: “It was a very dominant display on the ball, controlled. The stats must be massive in possession for Leeds today. They put bodies on the line did that horrible side of the game which we love, and they [the players] must be loving it right now.”
Whelan is right – it was another electric but industrious performance by Bielsa’s side and this will only increase the suggestions that the Argentine can lead United to promotion this season.
They have been in irresistible form this season and long may it continue from a Leeds perspective.
