The win against Garry Monk’s Middlesbrough at Elland Road means that Leeds are now seventh in the Championship table.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match, and he told BBC Radio Leeds at full time: “By far did they deserve that.
“I think the first 20 minutes of the game it was 50-50, and then Leeds United came into the game. They commanded the game. They were the better team throughout the whole game, I think.”
