Leeds United have won against Ipswich Town at Elland Road in the Championship this afternoon.

Leeds United have maintained their good run of form with a 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town at home this afternoon.
The Whites headed into the Championship match against Ipswich at Elland Road on the back of a win against Premier League side Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the third round of the EFL Cup.
The West Yorkshire outfit had lost 1-0 to Millwall away from home at The Den in the league last weekend, but they made sure of the points today.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga put the home team in the lead after just 13 minutes, but David McGoldrick restored parity for the visiting team on the half-hour mark.
Kalvin Phillips put Leeds 2-1 up just two minutes later, and Bartosz Bialkowski scored an own goal midway through the second half.
Joe Garner found the net for Ipswich just minutes later, but the home team held on for the three points.
The win means that Thomas Christiansen’s side have picked up 20 points from nine matches.

Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and he said at full time (16:55pm): “That two-goal cushion could have seen the game a little bit easier off the line, don’t get me wrong, two very very bad goalkeeping mistakes from either side today, one that gifted Leeds a goal, one that gifted Ipswich a goal, but at the end of the day there was some really good football played by Leeds United.
“They showed the character once again to come through and see the game out, and it’s three more points in the bag.”
