Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez scored for Leeds United against Bristol City.

Leeds United have bounced back from their defeat to West Bromwich Albion with a 2-0 win against Bristol City at home.
The West Yorkshire outfit were hammered 4-1 by West Brom away from home at The Hawthorns in the Championship before the two-week international break.
The Whites headed into this afternoon’s match against City at Elland Road as favourites, and Marcelo Bielsa’s side picked up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-0 win.
Kemar Roofe put Leeds in the lead in the 69th minute, and Pablo Hernandez doubled the advantage for the home team on 86 minutes.
Josh Brownhill was sent off for City for two bookable offences in the 55th minute.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts Leeds had 63% of the possession, took 20 shots of which six were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.
Noel Whelan was following the match, and the former Leeds striker has given his take on the final result, as well as on the performance of 20-year-old goalkeeper Will Huffer, who was making his competitive debut for the Whites.

Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds at full time (4:54pm, Saturday, November 24, 2018): “You could tell that both sides had two weeks off through internationals. Both sides looked a little bit rusty.
“Not much happened in the first 45 minutes of this match, but the defining moment obviously was the sending-off of Brownhill, and since then Leeds just dominated and controlled this game.”
“I think Huffer got better and better as the game went on, to be quite honest,” added Whelan. “Very mature at times.”
