Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United have won against Rotherham United at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, with Luke Ayling and Kemar Roofe scoring for the home team.

Leeds United maintained their good run of form this afternoon, as they got the better of Rotherham United 2-0 at home.
The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the match against Rotherham at Elland Road on the back of a 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers at home in the Carabao Cup.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side had previously won their first two Championship matches of the season, and the Whites picked up another victory in the league this afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Luke Ayling put Leeds in the lead in the 49th minute, and Kemar Roofe doubled the advantage for the Whites on 71 minutes.
Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and the former Leeds striker was impressed with the performance of the home team.

Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds at full time (16:55, Saturday, August 18, 2018): “The crowd’s happy. They have been fantastic as always. Leeds United are happy.
“They keep the winning run going, and they are just showing all the appreciation of the 33,000+ who are here today to win this, another great display and another three points.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts Leeds had 74% of the possession, took 16 shots of which eight were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
