Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United won against Derby County in the Championship this evening.

Leeds United put three past Stoke City last weekend, and this evening the Whites scored as many as four goals against Derby County.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side got the better of Stoke 3-1 at Elland Road in the Championship last weekend.
The performance of the West Yorkshire outfit against Stoke – who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2017-18 campaign – was brilliant, and the Whites were even better against Derby this evening.
Leeds got the better of Frank Lampard’s side with ease away from home at the Pride Park Stadium this evening.
Mateusz Klich, Kemar Roofe (two) and Ezgjan Alioski were the goalscorers for the Whites.
The performance against a Derby team aiming to clinch promotion to the Premier League was truly remarkable from Leeds, who themselves are looking to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.

Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and the former Leeds striker was impressed with the performance of the team.
Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds at full time (19:25pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018): “I knew they would go on and win this game. I felt they had a good chance today to beat this Derby County side.
“I didn’t think they would do it so emphatically, but they were ruthless, and they were disciplined and they were aggressive and commanding.”
Hadi Sacko was also impressed with the performance of Leeds against Derby.
The 24-year-old winger joined Las Palmas on loan from Leeds in the summer transfer window.
