Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United played out a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in the Championship on Saturday evening.

Leeds United have played out a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship this evening.
The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the match against Forest on the back of a 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town at Elland Road in the league.
Jack Robinson put the Reds in the lead at Elland Road on 11 minutes, and Kemar Roofe restored parity for the home team on 82 minutes.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and he has given his thoughts on the performance of Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Whelan said about Leeds on BBC Radio Leeds at full time on Saturday evening (7:29pm, October 27, 2018): “Loads of possession again in the second half, but no real kind of threat when it comes to shots, bodies in and around the 18-yard box, six-yard box, but they managed to get the goal, and that’s all that matters and taking a point away to Wigan.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday evening, hosts Leeds had 71% of the possession, took 18 shots of which three were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Forest had 29% of the possession, took three shots of which one was on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
The draw means that Leeds are now second in the Championship table with 27 points from 15 matches, just two points behind leaders Sheffield United.
