Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United have drawn with Dean Smith’s Aston Villa at Elland Road.

Leeds have played out a 1-1 draw with Villa at Elland Road in the Championship.
After a goalless first half, Mateusz Klich scored for the Whites under controversial circumstances on 72 minutes.
Leeds allowed Villa to score from kickoff, with Albert Adomah tucking the ball in, after Anwar El Ghazi had been sent off following the melee after the goal from the home team.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and he was pleased with the overall display from Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Whelan said BBC Radio Leeds on Sunday afternoon (2pm, April 28, 2019): “It’s a fantastic performance from the lads after the disappointing last couple of games against Wigan and Brentford, but that was more like the Leeds United.
“It looks like they have dusted themselves down, they have got their mind in the right place now, prepared, ready to take this fight all the way through.”
