Paul Heckingbottom’s Leeds United lost to Norwich City in the Championship this afternoon.
Leeds United failed to make it back-to-back wins in the Championship, as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Norwich City away from home this afternoon.
The West Yorkshire outfit headed into the match against Norwich on the back of a 2-1 victory over Barnsley at Elland Road in the league.
The Whites failed to build on that victory, as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Canaries at Carrow Road.
Although Leeds took the lead through Kalvin Phillips in the 39th minute, the home team scored twice through Wes Hoolahan and Josh Murphy to pick up all three points from the encounter.
Noel Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and the former Leeds striker was far from impressed with the display produced by Paul Heckingbottom’s side.
Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds at full time (4:46pm, Saturday, April 28,2018) about the performance of Leeds: “Absolutely shocking performance by Leeds United and the players – let themselves down and the manager, but more so the fans. They should have put on a better display. End of season – I don’t really care.”
