Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United have lost to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship this afternoon.

Leeds United have suffered a 2-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers away from home at Ewood Park in the Championship this afternoon.
Danny Graham put Blackburn in the lead after just two minutes, but Mateusz Klich put Leeds on level terms on the stroke of half time.
Darragh Lenihan found the target for the home team in the 70th minute to help Rovers to a 2-1 win.
Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match, and he was not impressed with the performance produced by Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds at full time on Saturday afternoon (1:54pm, October 20, 2018): “If you can’t defend set-pieces properly and you have been given a warning in the first half and you concede another soft one in the second half when you are absolutely dominating the game, you find yourselves with results like this. We didn’t test their keeper enough, and when we did, it was tame shots.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ewood Park on Saturday afternoon, hosts Blackburn had 32% of the possession, took 18 shots of which six were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Leeds had 68% of the possession, took 20 shots of which six were on target, and earned 11 corners, according to BBC Sport.
The defeat to Blackburn means that Leeds are now fourth in the Championship table with 23 points from 13 matches, just two points behind leaders Middlesbrough.
