Leeds United took on Reading at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday.

Leeds United’s disappointing run of form continued on Saturday afternoon, as they lost 1-0 to Reading at home in the Championship.
The Whites headed into the match against the Royals at Elland Road on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday away from home at the Hillsborough Stadium in the league.
Prior to that loss, Thomas Christiansen’s side had gone down 3-1 to Cardiff City away from home at the Cardiff City Stadium in the league.

With Reading struggling for points and results, Leeds headed into the match this afternoon as favourites.
The West Yorkshire outfit, though, failed to pick up a single point from the encounter, as Reading won 1-0.
Modou Barrow, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Leeds from Swansea City, scored the only goal of the match in the 84th minute.

Former Leeds striker Noel Whelan was following the match, and he told BBC Radio Leeds at full time: “That’s as poor a game as I have seen today for a long, long time, that. The quality wasn’t there. There was no inventiveness in the final third.”
Leeds will return to action next weekend when they take on Bristol City away from home at the Ashton Gate Stadium in the Championship.
