Leeds United came from 2-1 down in stoppage-time to extend their lead at the top of the Championship.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side produced a stunning comeback to beat Aston Villa at the weekend, coming from 2-0 down with three second-half goals, including a stoppage-time winner from Kemar Roofe.
And Roofe was at again on Wednesday in perhaps even more dramatic circumstances. Blackburn went ahead in the 90th minute with Charlie Mulgrew scoring his second of the game with a long-range free-kick.
In previous years, Leeds would have almost accepted defeat after conceding so late on. But this team rose to the challenge and pulled off another incredible comeback.

Roofe equalised moments after the home side went behind and then sent Elland Road into a frenzy as his header found the bottom corner and put Leeds 3-2 ahead seconds before the final whistle blew.
The victory is Leeds’ seventh in a row, and it is also the third time in this current run that the Whites have come from behind to claim the three points. The back-to-back 3-2 wins – with stoppage-time winners in both – have certainly put the rest of the division on alert.

And Whelan suggested that he is getting the feeling that something special is happening with Bielsa’s side given the way that they never seem to accept being beaten.
“They’re going to give me an early heart attack here honestly. But they’ve done it again. From 2-1 down, extra-time and two fantastic goals. It’s quite incredible what’s going on here at Elland Road at the moment,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
