Leeds United are due to take on Leicester City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Leeds players celebrate after beating Burnley on penalties during the Carabao Cup Third Round match between Burnley and Leeds United at Turf Moor on September 19, 2017 in Burnley, England.

Noel Whelan has reacted positively, after Leeds United were drawn against Leicester City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup yesterday.

Leeds got past Burnley at Turf Moor in the last stage of the competition, as they pulled off one of the shocks of the round.

And the Whites’ task is not set to get any easier, as Premier League side Leicester are their next opponents.

The Foxes will go into the game as the favourites, but Whelan believes that Leeds have a chance of progressing.

Leeds’ win over Burnley was a statement of intent, as their excellent start to the new campaign continued.

Thomas Christiansen’s side have still only lost one competitive match since the Danish boss took charge, with their form highly impressive.
