Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford helped Leeds to a 2-0 win.

Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford led the Whites to a 1-0 win over promotion rivals West Bromwich Albion.
Bamford did not score, but his all round game helped Leeds hold on for the victory after Ezgjan Alioski’s opener.
Noel Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds’ live coverage that he backed calls for Bamford to be Leeds’ man of the match.
He raved: “Rightly so, he’s been absolutely brilliant.
“Despite not scoring, it was an overall perfect performance. Aggression, holding the ball up. He did everything.
“He’ll be disappointed he didn’t score, but he did everything else required from a striker.”
Bamford has been criticised by Leeds fans this season, and some of it has been fair, his performances have been inconsistent.
With young talent Eddie Nketiah on the bench, the calls for a change are understandable.
Bamford really did step up last night for his team. His individual stats were not too impressive, one shot on target, and 30 touches, but it was the off ball work and hold up play which helped Leeds grind it out.
If the defence had not held up, perhaps it could have been a different story, but Leeds are now celebrating being back at the top of the table.
