Tyler Roberts played well for Leeds United against West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road in the Championship last Friday evening.

Former Leeds striker Whelan was impressed with the performance of Roberts and has praised the youngster, and he has also said that the only thing missing from his game was a goal.
Whelan said about Roberts on BBC Radio Leeds: “It’s difficult when you play against your former club. I just felt tonight it was such a mature performance, it was an exciting performance, but not just that.
“It’s what he did off the ball as well, tirelessly worked for his team, and number 10 is a really important position.
“We talk about these special players, the number 10s, and he came across tonight as a really important player, and if he can keep that sort of form up, that can be really important as well.
“Because two assists from that number 10 role, that’s what you are looking for. The only thing that was missing, he probably deserved a goal himself. He will settle for that, and man of the match.”
