Jack Clarke was in action for Leeds United against Nottingham Forest at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday.

Clarke, who is a very versatile footballer and can operate as forward or as a winger, was in action for Leeds against Forest at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday evening.
The 17-year-old did not start the match, but the talented and promising teenager came on as a substitute in the 65th minute.
Former Leeds striker Whelan was following the match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, and he was impressed with the performance produced by Clarke.
Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds: “I really like Clarke. I really do. He is exciting. He is direct. He is intelligent.
“There’s so much more (to come) from him. We are only seeing glimpses right now. There’s definitely a player in that kid.”

Promising talent
Clarke is only 17 years of age and is not the finished article, but there is no doubt that the teenager is hugely promising and has a lot of potential.
The youngster has made just three appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season – all of them as substitutes – but his displays have been encouraging.
While it is hard to see Clarke start matches regularly for manager Marcelo Bielsa’s side, it is clear that the youngster has what it takes to establish himself in the Leeds team in the coming years.
