Ben White was in action for Leeds United against Wigan Athletic at the weekend.

White, who joined Leeds on loan from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window, was shown a yellow card for a foul on Kieffer Moore in the first minute of injury time in the first half at the DW Stadium in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old, who can also operate as a right-back, played well in the second half and did not make any rash decisions which would have seen him get booked again.
Former Leeds striker Whelan was following the match for BBC Radio Leeds, and he was impressed with how the youngster managed his game after getting booked.
Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds: “You look at Ben White, who was on a yellow card, had to tread carefully and be very, very disciplined in his performance, and he managed that.”
Positive start
White has made a very good start to his Leeds career and has established himself as a key figure in head coach Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
The youngster looks calm and composed on the ball, and the 21-year-old also makes important challenges and reads the game well.
