Leeds United’s new badge has not gone down well.
Leeds United’s new badge has elicited a terrible response with supporters nationwide stunned at the ‘rebrand’.
Leeds unveiled the new crest today, hoping for a favourable reaction.
It has instead been panned, with fans suggesting they were not properly consulted despite Leeds claiming 10,000 supporters were.
Pundit and former player Noel Whelan has panned the change, posting a brutal tweet in reaction to the new crest.
Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani took a controlling stake in the club a year ago, and until now most of what he has overseen has been positive.
But there has been a real backlash to this, a problem of their own creating, with a badge change not seen as a priority by supporters.
The Italian now has to choose whether to stick with his chosen design or listen to the reaction and abandon course.
