Leeds United lost against Millwall at Elland Road in the Championship at the weekend.

Vieira featured for Leeds in their Championship game against Millwall at home at the weekend.
Although the 19-year-old midfielder started the match at Elland Road, the England Under-20 international had to be substituted in the 43rd minute.
Former Leeds striker Whelan was following the game, and he believes that Vieira is lacking match fitness at the moment.

Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds about Vieira: “I think he is lacking match fitness a little bit, match sharpness, you could see that. He wasn’t his normal self, a couple of stray passes, losing out on a couple of 50-50s.”

Vieira has only just returned from a knee injury, and it will take the youngster some time to regarding full match sharpness.
Question, though, should be asked of Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen’s decision to include him in the starting lineup against Millwall.
Millwall are a hard team to beat even at home, and perhaps it would have been better had Vieira started the game as a substitute.
Vieira is a key player in the current Leeds team. The youngster has made 15 Championship appearances so far this season and played 34 times in the league in 2016-17.
