Andy Lonergan played for Leeds United against Reading at Elland Road in the Championship last weekend.

Lonergan featured for Leeds in the Championship match against Reading at Elland Road last Saturday afternoon.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the Whites in the summer transfer window after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers, replaced Felix Wiedwald in the starting lineup.
The former Preston North End custodian was quite an underwhelming signing, as the Englishman was supposed to be just a back-up to Wiedwald.

Lonergan arrived at Elland Road only after the departure of Robert Green, who had lost his place in the Leeds starting lineup in the opening weeks of the season.
Former Leeds striker Whelan was pleased with the performance of the 33-year-old against Reading, who won the Championship match 1-0.
“Yeah, I felt really comfortable with him in goal,” Whelan told BBC Radio Leeds about Lonergan’s performance.
Whelen added: “Overall really pleased with his performance, distribution, shot-stopping unfortunate he couldn’t do anything about the goal. It was a great finish from Barrow.”

Leeds will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Bristol City away from home in the Championship.
