Praise
Whelan has been impressed with the performances of the City-owned winger so far this season, and believes that the 22-year-old is proving his doubters wrong.
Whelan said about Harrison on BBC Radio Leeds: “This was a massive season for him, coming back for his second stint, because he had a lot to prove, and so far I think he has proven it. I think he is standing up to the test of the doubters.”
Promotion challenge
Leeds are going strong in the Championship at the moment, and Harrison will be an important player in the Whites’ quest to clinch automatic promotion to the Premier League.
It is a long and hard season, and it remains to be seen if the 22-year-old winger is able to maintain consistency.
