Leeds United reportedly want to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla in the January transfer window.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are interested in signing Casilla from Madrid in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that the 32-year-old Spain international will undergo a medical at the Whites this week before signing a permanent contract with the Championship.
Former Leeds striker Whelan believes that Casilla will be a good signing for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Whelan said on BBC Radio Leeds regarding Casilla: “He has got a wealth of experience, hasn’t it?
“He has been at one of the biggest clubs in the world. Look, if that’s going to be happen, it’s fantastic. We need strength in depth in that area.”

Good signing for Leeds United
Casilla did well during his spell at Espanyol, and although his playing time at Madrid has been limited, there is no doubt that the 32-year-old is a very good goalkeeper.
The Spaniard is going to push Bailey Peacock-Farrell for the position between the posts, and given his experience, he will probably be an upgrade on the 22-year-old Northern Ireland international.
Leeds won against Derby County at Elland Road in the Championship last Friday evening and are now at the top of the table with 54 points from 27 matches.
